Jaiye Kuti’s Biography
Born Durojaiyeola Oluwakemi Kuti, she, however, better known as Jaiye Kuti. She is from Yewa Ayetoro, Egbado in Ogun State. Her parents are Mr and Mrs Rufus Adisa Olawale.
Education
While there are no details about her primary and secondary school education, she went to Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun State, where she studied Secretarial Administration. She later moved to the University of Lagos Unilag, where she bagged a bachelor degree in English Language. She also met her husband, Lanre Kuti, at Unilag.
Career
According to the reports, Jaiye Kuti started her career in Nollywood with English soap operas and made her debut in Laff Patterns in 2002. After which, she joined the Yoruba film industry, which she started with Adebayo Salami, also known as Oga Bello and then joined Prince Jide Kosoko’s team for scriptwriting and acting.

The Nollywood star is married to Lanre Kuti, who is the CEO of C.Ray company limited. She revealed she met her husband when she a very much committed Christian, the kind that never wore trousers, makeups and earrings. Her husband, however, made her know God’s not complex as she made Him seems.

However, in an interview in 2019, Jaiye Kuti debunked the reports as she revealed that since the time of her movie, ‘Jayeola Monje’ and the movie wedding pictures, many have said that it is an accurate wedding picture of her wedding.
